4th gen to 3rd gen wheel swap?

4th gen to 3rd gen wheel swap?
I would like to put some 4th gen five stars on my 88, but I'm not sure they'll fit right. I thought the bolt patterns are the same when going from a 4th gen to a 3rd gen, but I'm not sure about the width and backspacing.
