Good choice?.. Bad Choice?
I've got almost 170k on my daily driver and the shocks are SHOT!
I'm talking hitting bump stops shot!
After doing some searching and reading on here.....
With my budget I'm all but sold on going with this set-up.
KYB GR-2 shocks and struts, and Eibach springs.
I don't do very much aggressive driving and have a new set of Eagle F1 GSDS3's on the car.
From what I've read and learned on here.
The lowering springs may actually raise my car, simply because the springs are original to the car and probably worn out.
So my question is...
Is this a good set up for the money?
Cost for everything not installed is in the $380 range.

I have a set of KYB's on my 89 Iroc, very happy with them! Good shocks and struts at a reasonable price!

The price is what got my attention as well. And a lot of people on here seem to be happy with the product. Thanks for the feedback.

I thought about those, but... never heard anything on how easy are they to adjust.
They seem like a PITA.
I had air shocks on a car 20 years ago and they were nice.
Simple... take air out or add air.
I've found no info as to how any of these adjustable shocks work.
Even from makers websites.
Is is a wrench or what?

It's just a name... they have no adjustment.
They are what they are, which is more shock than stock. They will bring the rear into line and make it more fun to drive.

To me, if you go with the Eibachs, you may want to think of something like Tokico Illuminas.
If you do the GRs front, gas adjust rear route, I'd say stay with the stock springs. My experience with Gas-adjusts is they do wonders at transforming stock stuff.
Maybe take the Eibach $$s and put it on rebuilding the front end front.
Once you get into Eibachs, you want to start worrying about relocating your rear control arms (see sticky at the top of Forum).
Summer is coming, a smile will be on your face.
If the car works out, you can do the Eibachs, relocation brackets, and Illuminas for next year
