Whats wrong with my front suspension?
I have Jamex springs, KYB Gas Struts, new Moog balljoints, centerlink, and idler arm. My pitman arm is fine. My alignment sucks (pulls to the left pretty good), and I dont know if it can be fixed (been dones twice to no avail). Could I have bad tie-rod ends? Also, my steering feels "wobbley", and if I am on any kind of banked road, my car wants to pull VIOLENTY to lower side of the bank. I saw that Baer sells a bump-steer eliminator kit, does it work well, and how much does it cost? ANY suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
Look for craks where your steering box bolts up to the frame. I hear our cars are famous for cracking the frame rails there. Also check your box for play, if steering wheel turns, but the pitman shaft doesn't.
Hope this helps.

Any decent alignment shop wouldn't align your car with any loose parts(such as a tie-rod). If it pulls after the alignment is done, take it back. Something isn't right. A bump-steer kit won't stop it from pulling.
How long has it done this, did it happen all at once? What are the alignment specs? With your modified suspension, stock alignments specs aren't going to work well.
Wide tires are going to grab grooves in the road a lot more that normal tires. Check the steering box for play like he said above. Inflate the tires correctly. How new are the tires? What kind and size and psi do you run?

My tiresd are pretty old and were driven on with bad alignment, so that may be the main reason my car is pulling. Will the bump-steer kit stop a little bit of the wobble? I dont have the alignment specs with me right now, I will try to post them during lunch. I have 225/55/16 on the front and 245/50/16 on the rear (If I remember correctly). I try to keep them at 25-30 PSI. I think they are Road Hugger? They are made by goodyear. Pretty cheap tires ($75 ea. for the rears, $70 for the fronts). I know the pull could just be the tires, but I am mainly interested in geting rid of my bump-steer. Thanks!

make sure the idler arm is adjusted properly, it is adjustable up and down, and it will affect your bump steer. If you car isnt lowered you shouldnt need a bump steer kit. Sounds like something is worn out as mentioned above.
Before my recent mods my steering box was bad. It took more moverment of the wheel to get the car to change directions and it also wanted to drift more with the bumps and slants on the road. I replaced it when I lowered and rebuilt the frond end on my 82 T/A I also found out quickly how very few shops align fbodies well. Go to a reputable dealer just to make sure, they did a great job.

sounds like most of it is in the tires. If the inside/outside of the tread wears funny it will wonder alot. A good set of tires on the front is the place to start.
