HELP.....How do I disconnect the ebrake cable from a drum rear

I am in the process right now of doing a drum rear swap and have gotten everything disconnected except the ebrake cable. It says nothing about it in the Haynes manual. The haynes manual also skipped over a few important steps in removing the rear end, such as remove the track bar. I'm really losing faith in the Haynes..........

i'll sort of guess at it. it's been a while since i was under a thirdgen with a e brake. with the brake off ,there should be an adjustment under the car. loosen it to create slack in the cable. the cable from the drum goes to a coupler sort of thing. twist and angle the coupler untill you get the round thing on the end of the cable to go thru the hole and loose from the coupler. if i'm wrong flame away, i said i'd guess at it. it should be easy for you to figure out if you looked and got under the car. i took all my e brake assembly out last summer. sorry i just used a grinder and cut it out.

OK, I got it. Right after I posted I went back and looked at it again and did it in about the same way you said. Thanks.
