What struts/shocks are good for our cars?

Hey all, the local firestone here kicks *** , so they said if i bring in my own stuff, as long as it fits my car, they will install it (for a fee, of course).

anyway, i wanted to know what people here have as far as struts/shocks, and your opinion on what brand(s) are good, and which arn't so good.

So far, i have seen the KYB gas-a-just series, which isn't too espensive at all (like 80 per strut, and 30 per shock or so). anyone here run them? are they any good?

My struts/shocks have been shot sence ive purchaced the car, and im getting sick of ramming my entire car when i hit a speedbump (really) and having my car lift off the ground practily when i floor it, and when i hit the brakes, my car lurches forward.

thanks for the suggestion!

KYB, Bilstein, and Koni are the most popular choices. Check the F-Body GP page at www.ws6.com for the deals.

The brands Kevin mentioned are the best; but any shock/strut should do wonders for your handling, especially if your current ones are shot. Ex- KYB's are better than what you have now (and most f-bodies with old units), but Koni's would be better than KYB's.

I have the KYBs and I like them. But I want something a little stiffer. IM thinking of trying the Koni reds next.

KYB has some new adjustable ones out now.

I just put in some Monroe Senstraks in my car, and while they aren't a all out performance shock/strut, I love them.
