moog replacement springs

hey guys

was wondering if these would be a great replacement for my worn out old stock springs.. dont really care for performance just wanna replace the rusty tired springs...

front springs

back springs

i dont want to get lowering springs because my exhuast setup is already low enough and scrapes at times being that i have long tube headers....

Re: moog replacement springs

Check in my sig those are the exact ones I installed on my car... They raised the car quite a bit but i prefer it this way in the sense that it still handles good and i can drive it without scraping anything and actually enjoy the car.. although i might lower it with drop spindles (the right way!) next year... I like it like this though.. You will need an alignment after installing them but they are really stiff and provide a nice ride with my tokico blue shocks/struts.

the moog springs... how much higher are they from stock.... i wouldnt mind it being raised a little bit to help with exhaust clearance... did your handling or anything suffered with these springs.... how is the ride..

I've read, but never been able to verify, that OE ride height is 27 1/2". My car with the Moog fronts sits at 26 3/4". The Moog rears had the car jacked up to a ridiculous height, IMO. So I first removed the OE insulator and replaced it with radiator hose, then cut a bit of coil. Long story short, I was forced to cut a second time. The car currently sits at 27". Moog calls them stock replacements, but....

Re: moog replacement springs

The rear sits higher than the front and the car all around is ALOT higher than I had with my stock sagging springs.. Still, I would like to lower it some but it rides great i have to say, stiffer but it feels like it takes the bumps alot better. There is a slight rake on the car. It's at the garage right now but as soon as I get it back and fixed i'll be able to tell you how high it is from the ground and i'll measure fender gap too. I also put in 4th gen isolators which are a bit thicker so they would be a bit lower with 3rd gen ones which aren't as thick... All in all it was a good purchase but I will probably install 2" drop spindles next season when the budget permits
