the good thing about the weight jacks is being able to put the car where you want it, with whatever springs rate you need/want. Then in the future if you want to change things, its just a matter of turning a wrench and getting an alignment. No pulling springs. Unless you wan to change rates.

I've done the cut springs & the lowering springs route, but was never willing to pony up the extra $ for weight jacks. Every time I was somewhat disappointed with the stance & wanted it higher or lower, but also didn't wanna go through the whole deal again or buy another set of springs. Now it is just a matter of turning wrenches, unless I wanna stiffer or softer springs. Even then, it is cheaper.

My post feels like deja vue...... https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/susp...s-without.html

I have been thinking about doing a writeup on how to baseline set them so peole do not get their cars all out of balance in x-weight accidently.

I need to do a write on how to properly set them up with scales for Berk and his big block Pontiac in Turkey. Pilimanary setting these without an alignment can make headaches. BUT... if you align the car before you get the ride height, you also have to align it afterwards. People need to be aware that camber variances side to side will affect how the footprint is hitting the scale.
