I am looking at getting the weld in version at Summit for $79. I can weld them in myself and I'm worried about minor modifications that may be necessary. I have looked at the info on their website. Anyone have experience with these?

I bought these. They aren't very good at all. I ended up using the 2 inch square tubing included with the SFC's and custom making mine. Don't buy these. They contain 2 pieces of 2 inch square tubing with a bracket on the front of each one that is supposed to bolt to the tranny crossmember, and then weld the rest. Big time modification to the floor pan is required to make them work. They don't cost much, but you don't get much.

Thanks 82camaro, that is what I was afraid of. I'll just go by some tubing and make them from scratch.
