Im sorry if this has been asked before, but I have 245/50/ZR16 tires on my car, and i want to get the INTRAX 2" lowering springs. Would I have any problems with the tires rubbing on the inside or top of the fenders or anything?

I have them on my '82 Z28 with the stock 15in wheels. 225/60 R15 tires. I haven't had a problem with rubbing but I drive very slowly over speedbumps,drive ways etc... I feel its a little to low for daily street use. But I love the way it handles

My brother has a set on his RS and he only has the 15" rims and doesn't have any problems rubbing or bottoming out.I don't know how the 16's are going to be,but with my 17's,my car is lowered about 1 3/4" without any problems.I'm running 275/40's.

you shouldn't have clearance problems if the stock wheels fit,when you move up in rim size,you use lower prophile tires keeeping the wheel diameter the same.

 

The diameter isn't what you have to worry about, it's the width. I have 295/50r15 in the back, but with a stock ride height. I want the Intrax, but I probably will have to change tire sizes though.

What Kind of shocks and struts do you recommend using with these springs...I want a long life, rebuildable unit that will not bottom out due to lowering
