lowering an iroc

I have an Iroc with a 4th gen rear and ss rims with 275-40-17's all around (old pic in sig). my question is can i lower this car without the tires rubbing on the fenders? If so how much can i lower it. From the way it looks now i dont think it can be done but im hopeing someone has done this so they can prove me wronge.

Nice car. I would like to see a pic of what your car looks like now too. I couldn't tell you for fact, but I think you could do it. Just use a kit that only lowers your car like 1 inch or so. Or maybe you could look into an air bag suspension or something of the sort for the car.

If you have the correct rim offsets or spacers it should be OK. But you may need an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear end under the body after lowering it. Also LCA relocation brackets welded in to correct the rear end geometry. Good luck, Lon.
