question about KYB's

Im planning on soon replacing my rear shocks and after some searching Im leaning towards the KYB's my question is gr2 or gas a just. is the gr2 an improvement over stock? also, down the road when it comes time to replace the fronts gas a just is not an option, so looking ahead, would gr2 front and rear be a better combo than gr2 front and gas a just rear? its a street car and some of the roads here are really rough so Im not looking for a really firm high performance shock, jsut something a little better than stock. thanks

Re: question about KYB's

Go with the KYB gas/adjust shock and the gr-2 strut when you are ready.
You can not compare new with the old shocks & struts. Simple answer : Yes they will be a improvement.

Re: question about KYB's

I know a new kyb gr2 will be leaps and bounds ahead of a worn out stocker, I guess a better way to word it would be how would a new kyb gr2 compare to a new stock replacement

Re: question about KYB's

25 yr old struts & shocks were used up a long time ago. Don't do a half a-- job and only change the rears. The fronts don't have any life left in them (the oil leaked out a long time ago).

Re: question about KYB's

I have the GR2s and they seem to be a slight step up from what I remember the factory WS6 struts felt like. They are a decent choice for a daily-driver like my Formula...
