Scraping front ground effects
Scraping front ground effects
Is there anything I can do so I don't scrape the front of my car all the time? I know to angle it out of driveways but sometimes they are just too steep. I'm going to be replacing the front ground effects and painting them and I don't want to scrape them once there all painted. Is there any suspension mod that would help this?

I have the same problem i bought a new one got it painted and that night i scraped it pissed me off and now its starting to tear again. I remeber someone had a pic on how they costomised it so it wouldnt scrape
I had the same problem with my T/A and i figured out that it was the front struts that were the problem. I replaced my factory struts which were bad with kyb's and the gound fx stood higher off the ground and didn't scrape anymore.
You should consider changing the front struts if there factory or you think they're bad.

Is the part that's being scraped really visible or do you have to get down on the ground to see it? If you aren't worried about how the gfx looks and just want it to stop cracking and stuff you might be able to use something like spray on bedliner to strengthen it. It's just a thought. Personally, I wouldn't do it
