why?
ok so today i was out cruisin in my iroc my little brother called me said his car was hesitating so i sea foamed it for him and i took it for a little joyride
.... my car is a 1985 iroc/z converted to a 355 carb with the t5 his is a 1985 z/28 with the stock 305 tpi with the 700r4 ... i was just wondering what would make his car ride so smooth in comparison to mine as far as i can tell they both have the same stock suspension or could i be that possibly my 18 inch wheels make my car ride so rough he has stock z/28 wheels... j/w any input? or any tips to make mine ride smoother without sacrificing any handling? heres our cars

Yes, lower profile tires will make for a little more rough ride, and you could replace all the bushings with rubber polly everywhere will increase stiffness and bind, other than that the spring rates also will make a difference. New struts/shocks would help depending on if you get performance ones, or plain jane softer ones for a stiffer or softer ride.
Stickies at the top have info on shock/strut combo's, and affects of rubber/poly bushings and rod ends.

Switch rims and tires with your brothers and take it for a ride see how it rids and then try to convince your brother to give you back your old rims a tires.

yeah i dont think id be able to get my rims back i owe him 450 bucks right now....

Money Pit has the Smart answer. There are sooooo many variables, so he's spot on. Who knows; he could be riding around with only 15-17 psi air pressure in his tyres.... Nitro
