RPO code F41?

I just used the RPO decoder and it said the F41 code stood for a firm ride suspension. Does anybody know exactly what parts or options are included in an F41 suspension?

Actually, from what I've read here, and on the history and restoration board, F-41 is the basic, suspension. Then to add, the firmest springs are the Z-28s.

Contrast to FE1 / Soft Ride suspension.

F41 is sort of a stepped up RS suspension.

Yeah, at least it's a third gen! Well, it's nice to know that my suspension isn't the bottom of the barrel, just close, hehe.

1 1/2 inches comes out to 38.1 mm. So it's not a WS6 sway bar. It must be some kind of aftermarket piece, a damn big one! You got me on that one.

I have a 1 1/2 inch swaybar also. I have no idea where it came from, and I have measured the diameter over and over with a measuring caliper. I would like to know where It came from!

Yeah my car's an 89 IROC convertible and I'm sure it has a 1 1/2 sway bar. People say that it's impossible, but I'm totally sure. I'll check that number on the bar later. Oh and my rear sway bar is exactly 1 inch (25 mm?)

Its in the middle of the bar. Small stamped letters. I couldn't find any other numbers. My buddy, which is a ford fanatic, says that, when you buy motorsports parts, or high performance parts from ford. The stamping is always started with an X. ?????
I dont know. I think im gonna go bore the 35mm bushings i got to 1.490 to keep them tight and go from there.

Well, maybe it's one of those things that Chevy did and didn't bother to let anyone know about it. I've heard of other "mystery parts" showing up on Chevys in the past.

Yeah I checked it tonight and there's a number on it, and I'm sure it says X338. I'm pretty sure that's what it says and it's stamped in the middle of the bar. I'm also having trouble with the mounts because there are no 1 1/2 mounts. I think I might buy the biggest mounts and shave them also.
