Car: '86 IROC, black and sharp

Engine: 305 tpi, bone stock

Transmission: 700r4

Axle/Gears: 3.42 pos w/rear db

86 IROC wheels

While looking at another Camaro I was told that in 86 the 16" IROC wheels cannot be rotated front to rear as they have different offsets. I heard the wheels are even stamped "rear" and "front" on the inside. Is this hearsay, or fact?

Fact. To my knowledge, all IROCs with 16s have the offset.

ACTUALLY the iroc rims are stamped front/back. the backs have a 16mm offset and the fronts have 0. it makes that much a diff. dont rotate them either. just rotate the tires. and if you get aftrmrkt. rims dont worry about it either 4.5" or 5.5" backspacing. so it is true they are stamped and there is a diff. your welcome..
