Energy Suspension Poly motor mounts?

ES offers "Short and Wide" motor mounts, and "Tall and Narrow" mounts. Which ones do I need for a 92 RS? Thanks!

i wouldnt suggest getting polyeurethane bushings as motor mounts mainly cause u will have alot of noise coming from vibrations all u need as new rubber mounts and u should be good.

I used polyurethane motor mounts (prior to my 305's demise) and had no problems. The original mounts were so worn that with the hood open you could visually see the engine shift when shifting gears. Alot. The poly did make engine harmonics more noticeable, but it depends on driver preference...some like the 'feel' of the motor loping at idle, some don't. It's not nearly as bad as solid mounts. Those ARE harsh. Lube everything the polyurethane insert touches well, including the sleeve where the bolt passes through so it doesn't squeak. The poly motor mount is actually an insert, you'll need the metal parts of your existing mount to 'sandwich' the new mount together. Call Jeg's, just tell them what kind of car you have and they can send you the right mounts. That's what I did. I believe the differences you're referring to are between the f-body and trucks. Call them, they should be able to hook you up. -dhirocz

Have you ever helped anyone change a motor mount... it is a MEJOR PITA! Whoever designed that part of the car should be drawn and quartered!!!

If you don't 100% have to change them... DON'T!
