SFC's are awesome

I just put on spohn sfc's and they are amazing. THey gave me car a new car feel. Nice and solid. I can now feel the suspension work instead of the frame. It is a night and day difference. Anybody out there for SFC's must go for them. They must be your first mod.

I'm desperately saving for them right as I type. I've got about $50 saved up at the moment, and within the next month or two, I'll probably have enough money to buy them and have them installed. Speaking of having them installed, did you take yours to a shop to have them welded on? And if so, how much did it cost you?

what modifications or adjustments to the Y-pipe of exhaust did you have to make to install the SFCs? Did you have to lower the Y-pipe or ding it in the side???

I read an artice one time in Chevy High Performance or Super Chevy where they were putting suspension upgrades on a thirdgen, and they used the Hotchkis SFCs, but welded them on. If I remember correctly, they just had the people doing the welding cut out the portion of the y-pipe that was in the way and rerout it somehow else. It didn't sound too hard to accomplish. I'm not sure if the Spohn SFCs have the same clearance issues though.

No the spohns don't have clearances issues at all....weld in nicely. It cost me $300CAn to have them installed at a local race shop. The only person I could find to do them. He added a couple braces across the floor pan for extra rigidity. I'll get a picture some time this week. You will love spohns
