possible to upgrade calipers on a 91z with stock size rotors?

possible to upgrade calipers on a 91z with stock size rotors?

my car has acdelco performance cross drilled and slotted rotors on it and i was wondering if i could upgrade my calipers as well......the rotors are stock size, just built better than stock.

Not unless you upgrade your brakes to the 1LE kit (or one of the Baer Racing kits). You can get better brake pads for your stock calipers, which would make a world of a difference.

yeah i've done all of that, and the car stops so well that i don't see the need for a better settup, i don't road race it so it's definately not a problem, i merely wanted to see if i could get if anything a better looking set of calipers more race oriented i guess. i'm begining to find out that this isn't possible though.

Only larger diameter rotors,and matching calipers will help.

as wonderful as that sounds, larger rotors aren't necessary for the street, just changing these rotors from stock have made a huge improvement, i will have to put some skid pad times down for those who really care....anyway, i could care less to spend $2 grand more to have an inch and a half more diameter.........i'm not road racing the thing and that's an extreme cost for looks! thanks for all the posts guys
