Air Shocks?

How good would air shocks work on an IROC?

What do you mean by 'how good will they work'. What do you want to do with your iroc? A guy near here has some on his z28. The back is raised up 5 inches. I don't like how it looks, but he does. So for him, they work great. He also has a 15ft whip CB antenna on the corner of both sides of the rear bumper. And a trailer hitch.

lol.... they're not meant for road racing that's for sure, and you won't get the same play as hydraulics if that's what your wondering!

That's real funny, but I was just wondering because I want the car to sit level again and I attend to put some 18" IROC rims on it and I just want to be sure that I have enough clearnce in the back. If I can keep the original height with normal shocks and springs I'll be more than happy with that. By the way I have a kicker box in the back that made the back end drop about a inch thats why I was asking the ?.

Air shocks are just not the answer. Asking your shock mounts to support the weight of the car is not a good plan, the were not designed for that purpose. Shimming the springs, or, replacing them would be much better.

Wheel diameter doesn't matter. The tire you install on it does. Just go with a tire that has "about" the same height and width as a 245/50r16 and it will work fine.
I forgot to mention the side-pipes on that camaro as well as the bright purple paint. I need to get a picture of it, so more people will believe me.
