Does anyone know if you can have a Strut Tower Brace on a Camaro with TBI? If so do you know where I can get one?

Way back in the day, when the 87 was still alive, there was a guy on the board that made his own. This was before the first shutdown of the boards.. many moons ago. Maybe someone could search the archives. I know I posted on the topic, b/c it cleared the LG4, L69 and L03 air cleaners and whatnot.

I have the Edelbrock 3 point brace for TBI/Carb cars. It was in the Firebird, it now resides in the racecar. I hear that if you have A/C in the car you have to modify the bracket to make the STB fit right. Neither the 'Bird or the Z have A/C, so I can't tell you how to do it.
BTW, It works great. I felt the difference emmediatly in the Firebird(t-top car), the racecar(no t-tops) already had the roll cage installed so it wasn't as noticable.

The STB from edelbrock should have no interference at all with any of the a/c components. I believe I heard something about on the older cars it hit the hood, but on a 92, you should be fine. You can always email edelbrock and find out for sure though.
