Z28 Springs in Firebird

I just picked up a rear end from an 86 Z28 that I plan to install in my 91 Firebird. The springs were included. I have a couple of questions.

1. Will the Z28 springs install into my Firebird without lowering or raising it any?

2. Are they any better than my stock Firebird springs?

If anybody has any other comments about this swap, I would be glad to hear them. This is a posi disc brake rear end that will replace my stock open diff w/ drums.

They should keep the stock height, they will be stiffer unless they are worn out. The good thing is, if you don't like the way they work, just swap your old springs back in, it's an easy job.
