Brake Work....

I'm going to be putting new brakes on my 92 GTA and I have a few questions.

The brakes on my car have never been done before, so, do I really need to turn my rear drums or not?? They are not warped but I have always been told to always turn them, problem is that aluminum drums are EXPENSIVE and in a few years I don't want to be buying new ones because I turned my old one's when I didn't need to...

Next, when I bleed the system after install, do I start with the brake closest or farest from the master cylinder, I can't remember??

Thanks,

Alex

I would not bother turning the drums. Bleed the farthest wheel first>

If they're not warped, and there aren't any gouges or burnt spots, then don't turn them.
