Big steering problem. Please help!

I've had a small problem for a little while now. Every time i turn my steering wheel alot twards one side or another at slow speeds, something up front pops ann then keeps turning. Now just in the last day or so, every time i turn the wheel to the right and only to the right, it gets a little ways then it just stops turning like something is rubbing, i can turn it but it takes some force to get it to turn. I don't have any idea what it could be. Please help. Is it the pump? Or the tie rods, ball joints, i'm lost. please help.
Thanks

As I've said before.....check behind your steering box to see if the frame is cracked. Have a buddy turn the steering wheel back and forth, pop the hood and watch the box. The sound your hearing is probably the metal flexing. Is your steering really sloppy too? I fixed mine by MIG welding the cracks and throwing a "wonderbar" on to help keep the frame rails aligned. I was able to visibly move the dr. side frame rail back and forth with my hand that's how bad it was.

Good luck
