To anyone replacing wheel cylinders
When replacing my wheel cylinders I was struggling to get the clip on the back. Haynes manual said to use a screw driver to pry and hold the wheel cylinder in place from the axle flange.. and the instructions with the new wheel cylinder said to use a block of wood and knock the clip on with an 1-1/8" socket.
But what I was surprised to find out that the lug nuts fit PERFECTLY in between the cylinder and axle flange. I think it had to be designed that way and don't see why it wasnt mentioned. There was no movement of the cylinder and the clip knocked in no problem. Just a tip for anyone doing a search for 'clip' and 'wheel cylinder' :P
