I have a set of sfc's from Spohn to ship out on Monday, hopefully I'll get them by the week-end. Strange, the shop I plan to take the sfc's to doesn't touch the carpet during the install. Lemme know, keep us posted.

When i had mine installed, i didn't have to take out the carpet or put anything under it. i had it done at a muffler shop while i was getting some exhaust work done, the guy only charged 30 bucks.

the subframes should be stitch welded in four or five spots along the floorpan. You need to lift the carpet in these areas or it will burn. Pull your drivers side seat out prior to taking to the welder, save him some time. Car should be sitting on the wheels, not hanging from the lift..

it cost be 200 at the local body shop, they removed the carpet for me, and painted the welds.
