brake problems

Axle/Gears: GM Axles and GM 3.73
brake problems
alright i gotta couple problems....first off
my brakes sqeal and squeak alot and not only when im braking but also when i am just driving around.....i felt the rotors today and they had grooves in them...i know i will have to replace them someday but i dont have the money right now...i just wanna know if its them or the brake pads....also i had it off the ground today and i spun the front tires and it sounds liek the brakes are rubbing at all times....what can i do to fix this??
well another thing is that i have to push my brakes reall far down to the floor until they start to work....is this normal
.....and also they lock up sometimes in gravel but NEVER on the road..
does it sound liek i need new brake pads,rotor,and master cylinder???
man now that i think bout all the things that are wrong with my brakes... im surprised im still alive

It could be as simple as your brakes haven't had service in a while, the slides need to be lubed and your pads are worn right out.

i got the car in march and the people i got it from had it sitting in their garage for 3 years under sheets.......so i hope its just simple stuff.....thanks for the info though!
