4th gen torque arm and coilovers
i was looking at the4th gen swap guide and it stated that u can use coilovers, torque arm and a few other 4th gen parts on third gens, my question is are these parts only compatible with the 4th gen rear or can they be used on the thirdgen, and also how much will the coilovers drop the rear end, since for some reason mine sits rather high in the rear

the 4th gens done use rear coilovers, and the fron setup is different and you cant use it.
you can use the 4th gen rear springs, they are pretty mucht eh same as yours. You can lower the rear of your car at least 3/4" simply be removing the upper spring isolator, (rubber piece).
the only differences with the 4th gen rear are the brakes and width (`2" wider). All other parts will interchange with the 3rd gen. The rear itself will bolt right in, but the wheels will move out about 2", and the parking brake cables are different lengths.
the torque arm works, but you have to make sure the "lips" are facing the right way at the trans mount.

i dont really want to use the 4th gen rear im happy with my 3.08, i just want to swap the rear springs because its sits really high in the rear and when i get my new tires it will look a tad hillbillyish in my opinion
