Re: feedback on choosing struts

The KYB's are what I have had on my car for the last 3 years and I have been happy with them as far as just a daily driver strut.

Re: feedback on choosing struts

They seem like they do to me, but I have never done any autox or anything like that. They are significantly better than the no name shocks that were on it before. I'm in the same boat as you are, I would love to get some Konis or Bilstiens but just can't afford it. I think for the price range the KYB's are probably the best you can get.

Re: feedback on choosing struts

yes sounds like id use it the same way. summer and weekends. nice to know it handles curves well and bumps. i tend to push the car hard at times so thats a plus and not to mention all these country roads i drive on.

hi , gas mileage isn't great, but not bad...it's a 350 L82 from a corvette with a 4 bbl carb and edelbrock rpm intake, hot (rough idle) cam ..unfortunarely don't know the specs, headers,no egr-no cat, smog pump..2 3/4 exhaust to the back...i don't push the car because i like to drive and just have fun, especially with the T5 now,,i love the gears but i don't want to damage the weak T5's...i use the car weekends and therefore not really look at the gas mileage, but i have noticed on the highway it does quite well with my 3-23 gears..i like the edelbrock 1405 with elec choke better than the holley double pumper i had before, it seems like it uses a little less gas , but still takes off and drives nice...
