STB for carb'd IROC

Does anybody know where I can get a STB for my carb'd IROC. Edelbrock said that the one theymake for the TBI cars won't fit. Thanks!

Sorry I didn't put this in earlier. They said it wouldn't fit and they never emailed me back as why. I alos intend on putting on a dual snorkel air cleaner for more cool air availability. Has Steve Spohn ever talked about this for a part available from him?

Its great to know that Edelbrock doesn't know if their products work on carbed cars, even though they do and quite a few people have them.

You do have to make a few mods to make it fit though, to the car, not the STB. First, you need to dump the a/c bracket that goes from the intake to the top of the a/c braket - looks like a 1/2" thick bar. Then you have to cut the top of the a/c braket where the bar threaded into to clear the bracket. You also may have to shim the stb where it bolts to the strut towers (I did, but you may not).

Since I have an aftermarket fiberglass hood, the stb clears in the back, but a stock hood may not, check before drilling holes.

will dumping the A/C bracket hurt the compressor or how it functions at all? I want to keep it.
