Anyone have Southside Machine SFC's?

I am thinking of getting these. they say no floor board cutting and they are supposed to fit in with no problem. they are weld in. does anyone have experience with these?. thanks alot

I've got them and they do everything as advertised. One major problem: If you have headers with a 3" collector going into a 3" cat you're going to have contact between the pipe and the SFC. This can be remedied easily by cutting a notch from the front end of the pass. side SFC to where it makes the slight bend downward following the floor pan. This will allow you to use an Edelbrock TES 6872 with 3" cat with no trouble. It may be the same with the SLP headers and then again it may not. I also don't know if they will work with dual cats. Someone else here may though...

I second what Mongoose just said. I had my SSM's welded in on Monday. The exact same mods had to be done to mine because of a lack of clearence with the y-pipe. Just to tight in there. Admitingly, we didnt take enough off the subframe conn. and it still touches in a spot. Hopefully it wont rattle. If it does I'll adjust the clearance with a pry bar(gently) or something.
