ok, i found a fourth gen rear for sale, i dont know much except i have a 91 pont firebird, id have to go to junkyard to get the Prop. Valve, but heres what was said about it.

"The stock rear still has the studs in it, axles, 3.23 housing and came off of a 97 z28 with 57K miles on it. Still in great condition with rust like any normal car. The torque arm looks pretty much new. I would also be willing to sell as a package if wanted."

I did the change in my 92 camaro. It really depends on what you are going to do to the car though. I wanted the SS wheels to fit and I wanted to change from the 2.73's in my old rear and plus the new rear had rear disk brakes so it made sense for me. I would still do it again the only problems I have had are with the emergency brake cables but I will fix that tomorrow. So as long as its not to expensive DO IT.
