Strange handling after accident
Background info: About a month ago there was an accident involving my 1984 T/A. It was hit diagonally from the front at about 10mph, impact angled almost thru the fender, into the tread of the pass. front tire, and now the car handles strangely. It was fine before this happened.
On cornering to the left, I get a lot of body pitch/roll. When turning right, the wheel seems to take an extra 1/2 turn as opposed to the same angle when turning left. The pass. side of the car tends to bounce more than the right, too.
The pwr steering box and pump are both brand new, and there are new struts up front, but original springs. I checked the brake calipers to make sure they aren't hanging up, they're fine. Also have had two alignments done with no improvement. The car still steers straight as an arrow, though.
So basically i'm asking what I should be looking at/inspecting next to correct this; balljoints, springs, ??? Could it be something in the rear?

Get your computer alighnment sheet. Look at the SAI. This is the steering axis inclination angle. If it is different on one side than the strut tower is still bent. Take it back to the body shop and raise hell. Another thing to check is the ackerman or turn radius. If this is off on one side it means you have a bent spindle. The arm that the tie rod attaches to is not that strong and is hard to tell when bent.
