please need help with SFC's

I have tried to read all the posts I can and I want to know if I am right on assuming this: There is basically no exhaust/ SFC combo that will work one or the other will have to be modified.

also what brands are you guys using? I was looking at the Hotchkis. Are they any good?

I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT

1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package , dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, ASCD SS hood, 16" IROC rims.

future mods:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames, Hurst shifter, dakota digital gauge package, procharger supercharger.

Flowmaster 3" exhaust, Edelbrock headers & y-pipe here. I mocked up my SSM SFCs and they cleared easily. Just gotta get 'em welded in one of these days.

Has anyone seen the Kenny Brown SFC's I like the idea of extra bracing near the transmission.

soon to come:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames, NOS, 4.10's SLP headers and maybe a T-56

I have SSM weld in sfc's and Edelbrock TES but I had to lengthen the passenger side exhaust pipe 1/2" to clear the sfc. With a mig welder it's a 15 minute fix.
