rubbing noise

rubbing noise
in my 89 rs when i turn the wheel att the way to either side there is a weird rubbing sound, any ideas on what this could be. its not tire size because i have 3.5in weld front runer wheels and tires

only thing i can think of is tires. the 3.5 wide are still tall, mine are several inches taller than stock.
