4th gen rear in my 3rd gen??

4th gen rear in my 3rd gen??
Ok I did a search and couldn't find anything. need your help. I can get a 10 bolt 4th gen rear with 3.42 in it but I have heard things about the spacing for rims. I have an 88 IROC with factory rims. Will they fit?

Stock rims will work,they'll come right out to the outer edge of the fender depending on what size tires your using. Not the best pic but you can get an idea of how far they actually stick out. http://www.webphotos.com/member/11528/229647.jpg
