A close call, and now a problem.help!

Well in an attempt to dodge a merging soccermom in a SUV on a cell phone, I had to floor it around her and made two sharp swerves. Well no contact but I think I busted my front shock. The front driver side shock would have been the one that took all the force as my car swayed. Any way, it sounds like it is losing air everytime I press down on the front of my car. My shocks are the original. So do you guys think it is about time to get new shocks. If so what type is the best?

Your car has shocks on the rear and struts on the front. If they are the originals its well past time to change them. If your on a budget go with KYB shocks/strut, they give pretty good performance for the price. I f money is not an issue go with Bilstein or Konis.
