I busted a bolt on me tires!

Alright I was changing my tires the other day and when I was trying to remove on of the lug nuts it busted right off with almost all of the thread. I got the tire back on and all, but I'm wondering if not having that one lug and it being broken is gonna like become a serious HAZARD to my safety??

If it is something I should worry about any ideas on how much to replace that lil bugger?

Depending on which tire the bolt broke off on, it may not be that hard to change. If its on the front, just change the rotor for a new one, you can get them for $13 at autozone (unless you have the 1le brakes) and if its on the rear rotor you can hammer it out and put a new bolt back in. On a FWD car it's SUPER easy to change but not so easy on a RWD car...

If your rotor isn't worn out you can just change the stud. Go buy a new stud. Pull off the rotor. Hammer out the broken stud. Hammer in the new stud and reinstall the rotor. If the rotor is close to worn out then just replace the rotor. It will come with new studs.

If you need instructions on how to remove a rotor either buy a Chilton or Haynes manual or have someone at a shop do it for you.

I got a manual, i just changed my brakes, I'll go jack it up this weekend and take a close look at the rotor, doesn't seem to be wore out that much.
