Wheel Hop?
Sunday I went out and did some hole shots etc, basically just testing the car out. I've got aftermarket suspension all around and Nittos in the rear. So anyway the first few burnouts I did the tires spun til they eventually hooked up and off I went. But after that there was less spin and pretty much all wheel hop. Never had this problem before, but I also never did that many burnouts in a short amount of time. So anyone has any ideas what it is? I had considered my tire pressure but I'm not sure where that should be to due those kind of runs.

Re: Wheel Hop?
Ok!
I assume that's suppose to happen, so you get better hook up and less spin. So what if anything can I do to correct this. Cars race at the track all day long and don't seem to have that problem. I did notice my et's went up when this started happening. It would seem I get better times when the tires just spin til they hook up.

Re: Wheel Hop?
Go into more detail on your suspension setup please.
Are you running stock lcas? Stock torque arm? Old bushings? Let us know the components you have.

LCARB?
What are the rear shocks set at or are they even adjustable?

Yea I do have LCARB'S, and I don't know if my shocks are adjustable or not. If they are where should they be set at?

Re: Wheel Hop?
what position are the LCA in? Are they parallel to the ground, down at the rear etc? They should be parallel or down slightly at the rear. LCARB are a tuning aid. When lowering a car, it changes the angles so the LCARB allow you to drop the rear mount to keep the LCA more parallel.
