factory line lock

factory line lock
any one know why my factory rear drum brakes dont work? THey appear to be in good condition but they really dont do any stopping untill I stand on the pedal. Even then stopping help is minimal. it was kinda cool at first but after almost hitting cars when parking on gravel I thought I should look into this.

could be internal leak in the master cylinder, colasped rubber lines, leaking wheel cylinder, not adjusted correctly

I did have a brake line that was hit by the motor when I was taking it out. It didnt look like it was smashed but I guess I will replace it just in case.
