no brakes!

ok well i do not have any brakes. they go almost all the way to the floor when i hit them. then the brake light comes on. only the rear brakes are engaing, like i was pulling up the parking brake. i just replaced my master cylinder and booster. also my pads and shoes are fine. any ideas?

There might be air that's trapped in the system.Try a gravity blead, and then blead them as normal.

GSS likely meant a gravity flush, then bleed the brakes. The brake light is coming on because the system is sensing either the front or rear circuit has a problem and is shutting it down. this leaves you with only half the brakes you should have. You either have a leak or air trapped in the line. Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air and needs to be flushed and refilled every two years or so. The water boils at a much lower temp than the brake fluid,(not good). Flush & refill will probably cure the problem. Good luck, Lon.

Fill the reservoir, pump the brakes a few times and look undernieth for and leaks.

I'd guess since you just changed the master that you didn't bench bleed it and now have air trapped in the lines.
