SFC and STB

Okay, before I am told to go do a search... I just spent the last 30 minutes doing it. So lets avoid that.

Here's my plan... I would like to go with Spohn SFCs... however, will they cause a problem later on if I was to have to have a custom made Y-pipe for header use.

AS for the STB... I was thinking about going with the BMR version. The three Point version. Is the install a real pain? Is it a big difference (everyone on the archives had mixed feelings on this)?

Will either of these cause my car to ride much rougher?

Thanks for the help.

By definition if you're having a custom Y-pipe made how could there be clearance problems?

By themselves, those mods won't make your car ride "rougher", certainly "stiffer". But everyone has different perceptions of those words, so you're just gonna have to experience it for yourself.

And QwkTrip beat me to the other point.

The 2 point brace is fine (and a LOT easier to install) and the weld-in SFC's are best.
Don't worry about after the fact y-pipes & SFC's, since it's going to be a custom job, anyway.

How does it matter if then Y-pipe is custom?

If the SFCs keep it from having much diameter or something of that nature. I might be able to have it routed different or slightly higher... but I don't want a 1" Y-pipe or anything. Just want to make sure there is clearence.
