Dangerous sterring
Dangerous sterring
My IROC/z28 is too responsive on right turns only.
It becames very danger on cert curves, I was
told the could be the power Sterring pump or
idle arm, center link , tie rod ends.So far
nobody has told me the right answer.I replaced the struts and got aligment.
But it did no good. Please help.
Thanks.

Well, if you have wide tires, its gonna veer around no matter what. Hows your steering? Is it lose, some play in the steering wheel?Anyhow, definatly check out that ceterlink. Most of the time its that unit, and it'll tighten up your steering when you do change it.

If you had an alighnment and they didn't find any problems then it might be the roads you drive on. You didn't say what year your car is. Grooves in the road tend to make wide tires drift and change direction quickly.
whom ever installed your idler arm F-up badly. It needs to be set to the right height, otherwise you will experience what you do. It has nothing to do with roads or wide tires.
have an alignment guy set it up correctly. or read the manual. you can't just throw an idler arm in there without measuring.
