Possibility of the master cylinder is leakin in the rear, and going into the booster.

yep good possibility! be careful driving it. i had this happen to my f250 i would use about a quart a week it went into the booster and sucked into the motor. i dont know if it was good for it but i ended up junkin the truck shortly after. i would definately fix this as you will soon have a 3000 lb missle heading towards someone.

I just fixed this; the bendix rebuild kit was $26, and the m/c was easy to rebuild. I swapped rear drum to rear disc last year, and had to get two rebuilt m/c's before i got a working one. I wasn't about to go thru the same hell again; that's why I rebuilt mine.

My rebuild info is here: https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/002560.html

The m/c kit info is here: https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/002625.html

Remember, the reservoir closest to the firewall is for your FRONT brakes... not for your rears. So when that rear reservoir is empty, you're just relying on your back brakes! Be safe...
