C5 brakes on a Thirdgen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, not quite. Check out this thread on ls1.com: http://208.238.17.66/ls1forum/Forum1/HTML/017235.html
Everybody wants a kit to adapt LS1 brakes to thirdgens and I've been in support of not wasting our time. As long as you're talking about a custom kit, you might as well adapt C5 brakes. This group seems like they may be the ticket if they get enough support.

Go check my post again. I've changed my view then saw your thread here. hehhehe

Anyway, I'm gonna see about maybe getting LG motorsports to help us out. Or Reher-Morrison to sub out the CNC work on the relocation brackets.

Man, either brakes would be better than what we got. I am planning on running 17s down the road, so my vote is for the better C5s. Keep us updated on how this going!

Do we know if the C5 brakes will fit in the stock thirdgen 16" wheels, or will this require a jump to 17" wheels?

I'd be up for it! As long as the cost for the brackets wasn't outrageous.....
