nice shocks suggestions please
i have a full set of bilstein struts and shocks.
its alittle too bumpy or stiff for my liking. dont really absorb the impact on bumps. on a race track im sure they are great for keeping a car straight. but on the road im tired of feelin everything on teh road.
i love the handling
I'm only looking to replace the rear shocks. i'll stick with the bilstein struts for now
what is a softer ride but still handles well on corners? but also has a decent lifespan on the car?
kybs?
koni?
monroe?

I've got a full set of NAPA Response shocks and struts that I'll trade you for your full set of bilsteins. The shocks and struts only have about 3000 highway miles on them. PM me for more details if you're interested.

as far as rear shocks i absolutly love my qa1's there adjustable for your liking. soft or hard. when i first installed them i had it riding like a go cart. it was very bouncy. good with girls in the car if you know what i mean.
now its soft rides like a caddy.

I put the KYB gr2's on mine and it seems to ride smooth and tight if that makes any sense. I don't run it hard enough to really push it to the limit.

Re: nice shocks suggestions please
my car is not lowered. i have polyurethane bushings for everything.
replaced all sway bar links. installed wonder bar. bilstein shocks and struts. tublular poly bushing LCA's and panhard bar
replaced rear springs with sphon iroc moog springs.
i have not touched the torque arm and a-arms or lower ball joints.
i have my tire pressure around 31-32lbs
obviously this car is built to handle but i dont wana feel like a bomb goes off every decent bump in the road or sewer main.

one full season with the KYB's. I cannot complain. I feel a smooth, firm, sports car ride. 3000 miles and I am satisfied. we do mostly touring with our car so take that into consideration. thanks, Randy

Re: nice shocks suggestions please
Just my two cents. I love my qa1's and last week I installed kyb g2 struts car handles amazing with sportline springs. This combo I couldn't be happier.
Edit- I lied I have agx's on front. Gr2s on old car can't complain on either but agx's handle very well on back roads. Highly recommend. They're also adjustable.
