no traction ?
I recently swaped my 305tbi in my 89 camaro for a modified 454, the car has great power but i cant seem to get enough traction to make the car really launch and after the engine swap i cant set it any lower, any advise for a good launch ?

Re: no traction ?
Have you done any suspension upgrade / mods to it yet? Or, moved some ballast into the rear of the car and over the rear end?

I wouldnt want to hook if the big block is putting down some decent torque. I would worry more if the T5 and the rearend would grenade first.

I'm with 84. Not getting traction has probably saved you so far. I helped a friend put 472 Cadi in front of a TH350 in a '70 or so Cutlass. It would almost lift the front off the pavement and was a total blast. For about two weeks. Then bye bye TH350. It's all about the balance. How are your brakes? Can't have all that go with no slow. Be careful.
