I've got the Edelbrock STB (mine's TPI) and the Lakewood adj. panhard rod.
The STB is a good piece. It ties into the cowl area, making things much stiffer than if it just went across the strut towers. It was the single best mod I've done, so far.
The panhard rod is also of good quality, but I was disappointed by its weight. Much heavier than the stocker. But my stock one was bent, and the Lakewood was the cheapest one I could find at the time.

88 IROC with cobbled together (not by me)drivetrain, 86 (?) TPI unit on an '83 305,CE subframe connectors, Edelbrock strut tower brace, polygraphite bushings all around...it handles like a dream, but man is it hard to push!!

I just installed the Eibach Pro-Kit and AGX shocks last week. The improvement over the worn out original parts is indescribable! The springs lowered the car just enough and corrected the "nose up" stance to a slight "nose down" stance which completely changed the look of the car. They also work well with the shocks , my handling AND ride improved drasticly! I like the adjustability of the AGX shocks, I'm still playing around but you can definitely feel the different settings. I can highly recommend both! I'm looking to Steve Spohn for my next suspension upgrade. Check out his web site before you make a decision.
Good Luck,
Ken

my setup is somewhat similar to yours and i could see the thinking behind them.
here's my story:
-edelbrock LCA / struttower bar
-lakewood adj. panhard rod
-PST front&rear poly bushings /swaybars (1 1/4 front, 1" rear)
-belltech 2" lowering spindles front, 1.75 rear drop springs
-KYB struts/shocks
my car drives and corners like a CHAMP (ZERO body lean)! believe me! i've not yet tested G's, but i bet 1G skippad might be in order.
IMO, SFC are okay, but do the basics first (bolt on). if you still arenet satisfied with the feel, then go ahead.
any other ?'s shoot...
