Hey guys, I'm looking at rebuilding my front end and want to include a sway bar. Question is, what size is the stock front unit, and is it worth replacing handling wise? Also, I wnat to upgrade my crappy brakes while I'm at it. I will be putting in a posi unit off a 91' TA with disc brakes. Do any of you know of a good brake upgrade kit value wise, for a stock system (91' Firebird)? I can't afford to spend tons of money, but the braking needs to be stonger in the car. Any advise you guys could give would be great, thanks a lot!

 

There are numerous brake upgrades out there, and some of the more popular ones are the factory 1LE setup which I will be installing, and others from Baer and Wilwood. It all depends on what you are willing to spend. To keep this simple, I suggest doing a search under "brake upgrade", "1LE", or "Baer" and see what you get. This may svae you some time and other people a lot of typing. You should get more than you need. Good luck..
