Do they make a strut tower brace for a carb car?
All I can find listed is for injected cars.

As I understand it, the Edelbrock version won't fit cars with AC. I have no personal experience, so if I'm incorrect, someone please correct me.

Cant you just use the TBI one? Cause the TBI uses the same filter and such as teh Carbed. So I would tink the tbi one would fit.

I have the Ground Control Racing Strut Tower Brace.It clears the 14" air cleaner and AC compressor just fine.They call it an upper stress bar, and it's $109.00.

The edelbrock carb/tbi STB wont fit without mods. I tried it. The crossbar hits right on the drivers side A/C compressor (TBI cars have it on the pass side and it sits more foward, thats why TBI'ers have no probs with it). If you retro'd the TBI serpentine belt setup, the STB would fit fine. I ended up buying George Lara's STB and it fits fine. I dont think he makes them anymore tho.
