spohn makes one I believe, and so does random tech. Either one will be good.

Anyone using the Chassis Engineering torque arm?....Saw it in Chevy Hi-Performance Mag in an ad, $299, mounts to car instead of trans, adjustable w/ spherical rod end. Just curious, for $55 more I could get the Spohn w/ the Tremec crossmember but want to weigh all my options.

Edelbrock make one also. It's the cheapest I've come across at $146. Anyone know how good that one is?

Spohn Have the BEST on the market, and I have look at all the ones mentioned. I get his after a lot of research and as far as I’m concerned I would never get one other there Steve’s. IMO….

I also have to agree. Spohn is the best. I have had one and loved it. I will buy another when the time comes to change trannys.

I don't have one now but when I buy ( in a few weeks) it will be Spohn. I have his drive shaft and SFC and both are of the highest quality and a perfect fit. I thought I could save a few bucks and get one through S&W Race cars BIG mistake it ended up costing more and didn't fit and they have a restocking fee on top of that. Rip off artists!!!!!!!!!

I did a lot of reading over the weekend & Spohn looks like the best bang for the buck! Unlike the Jeg's, Random Tech, Mac, etc. it doesn't mount to the stock trans location, they give you a choice of poly mount or rod end & depending on your application, many of the Spohn's have driveshaft loops & crossmembers (so I can get rid of those cheesy trans adapters that came w/ my Tremec!)....for $355, vs. BMR's extreme duty for $550. My plans are to order one in the next week or so along w/ the control arm relocation brackets & the LPE 3-3/4" aluminum driveshaft...forget about this months car payment!!!!!!

The Chassis Engineering TA is a POS!

Its basically a ladderbar with 2 adapters.

It bolts through the floor (gotta pull the interior), and hammer the **** out of the floorboard, It MIGHT work a little better with their SFCs, but it also has the drawback of having a solid front mount (supposedly binds up), and you can NOT run the factory exhaust (it goes right through the TA crossmember.

The only reason I'm running one is because someone gave it to me, and I ripped the tranny crossmember out twice (previous owner rigged the factory TA to it in order to install a TH350). It transfers a little road noise, but it hooks like a *****!

It DOES work, but there are just too many compromises for me to sugguest it to someone when there are better alternatives.

Anyone know who makes a good, inexpensive 4-link kit?

The jegs TA does not mount to the original location. It bolts to the bottom of the car using a saddle bracket. Interior removal is required as is drilling a lot of holes for the 3/8 inch bolts. 17 of them i think.

My jegster arm lifts the whole front of my car in the air. I was told it was very effective b/c it is so short. I have people asking "how the hell did you get your car to lift like that" Hard install though
